VBV has more than 35 years of experience in realizing plastic total solutions. From sawing a standard sheet to size, to designing and realizing complete process installations. We invent and make it. Due to the versatility and quality of the plastics we work with, we are active in the food, chemical, agricultural and leisure sector. Due to the modern production techniques we use and our expert employees, we are able to produce a high-quality end product.

From advice to end product

Everything begins with an idea. At VBV we are able to translate that idea into any desired end product. Our own drawing and design department turns every sketch and every idea into a professional elaboration. In consultation with our clients, we come to a complete picture which is then made by our professionals. Due to the short lines of communication with the customer, changes in the design and production process can be implemented quickly. We use a very advanced CAD-CAM system for the designing and programming of our machines, which makes machine programming fast and accurate.

Techniques

The possibilities of our different processing techniques are endless. In order to achieve a high-quality end product, VBV uses various production techniques such as:

  • Milling: We have several 3- and 5-axis milling machines, each with its own specialty. These machines are programmed from engineering and are capable of milling almost any desired shape.
  • Sawing: Every sheet can be cut to size in our sawmill. We can also supply custom-made plastic semi-finished products.
  • Machine welding: By means of a number of butt welding benches, we can weld plastic sheets to any desired length with a maximum width of no less than 5 meters. We have also developed and built welding robots for various applications to be able to weld faster and with a better quality. For example, we have built an extrusion robot to make long horizontal welds
  • Manual welding/ extruding: Many devices and machines that we make are welded by hand. This is done because of the complexity and technique of the final product. Manual welding is done by a number of highly experienced professionals.
  • Vacuum forming: Vacuum forming is a technique in which a plastic sheet is first heated, then pulled over a mold and finally vacuumed. This gives the sheet the shape of the mold, a very nice technique with a special end product.
  • Bending/ forming: We can bend many plastics with our bending bench. This is an indispensable technique for the production of plastic tanks and plastic caps.

Service

The client is central to VBV. We always try to think along as much as possible in the process of our clients. We can provide service on location and in our workshop in the form of repairs and maintenance. Our skilled employees can perform almost any repair you want. If possible, we act quickly to help our clients quickly.

End products

The possibilities in plastic technology are endless at our company. We specialize in (end)products for industrial applications such as piping, liquid tanks, machine parts, prototyping and climate solutions such as industrial air, gas and air scrubbers or agricultural air scrubbers. We are also specialized in plastic climate solutions such as ventilation ducts and channels, air washers and heat exchangers. Of course, thanks to the versatility of our plastics, we also excel in providing custom work for special applications.

Plastic semimanufactures

VBV has a wide range of technical plastics in the form of sheet and rod material. Most of these plastic semi-finished products are available from stock from our warehouse. If desired, we can supply all our plastics sawed to measure. Our expert employees with years of experience are available to assist you with the right advice for your questions. Abrasion-resistant plastics

The best known examples of abrasion-resistant plastics are PA (Polyamide, Nylon), POM-C (Polyacetal, Delrin) and HMPE (High Molecular Polyethylene). These plastics are mainly suitable for mechanical processes, for example in the mechanical engineeting. Abrasion-resistant plastics such as POM and HMPE are ideal for use in the food industry because they may come into direct contact with foods.

We supply among others:

  • PA (Polyamide, Nylon)
  • POM (Polyacetal, Delrin)
  • HMPE-500 (High Molecular Polyethylene)
  • HMPE-1000 (High Molecular Polyethylene, Material-S)
  • PETP (Polyethylene Tereftalate, Arnite)

Construction plastics

These construction plastics have the right mechanical properties and have a high chemical resistance, making them very suitable and widely used in the food and chemical industry. Applications of these plastics can often be found in plastic device and tank construction and in mechanical engineering. Construction sheets are very suitable for building larger and heavier plastic devices and tanks. It is usually possible to weld or glue construction plastics.

We supply among others:

  • PE (Polyethylene)
  • PP (Polypropylene)
  • PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride)
  • PE Construction sheets Paneltim®
  • PP Construction sheets Paneltim®

Fluorinated plastics

Fluorinared plastics are most applicable for the highest chemical and temperature resistance. Due to the high temperature resistance, the sheets are ideal for sterilization.

We supply among others:

  • PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride)
  • PTFE (Polytetrafluorethylene, Teflon)

Transparant plastics

We have a number of transparent plastics in our range for replacing glass in industrial applications. The advantage of these plastics is that transparent plastic is lightweight and impact-resistant. This makes this plastic excellent for, for instance, machine protection caps, liquid meters and viewing windows.

We supply among others:

  • PMMA (Acrylic, Plexiglas)
  • PC (Polycarbonate, Lexan)
  • PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol)
  • PVC Helder (Polyvinyl Chloride)

Composites

Composites have good electrical insulating properties. Composites are also very temperature-resistant and pressure and abrasion-resistant.

We supply among others:

  • Hard paper (Pertinax)
  • Hard tissue (Celeron)
  • HPL (Trespa, Kompactplaat, Volkern)

Other plastics

We also have various other plastics in stock such as:

  • Foamed PVC sheets (Forex)
  • ACP sheets (Dibond, Alupanel, Dilite)
  • Polystyrene
  • Foamlite PP
  • Deprop
  • PEEK
